Impulse-Response

Wow!!! This is my first blog experience. Now I really don't know if this is my thing but I will give it a whirl. My "amigo" jolly suggested this activity to me just last night. I thought that this may be a good outlet for me right now as I get bored most of the time. And of course, I heard about the experiences of my friend Pia about blogging. Apparently she now earns "moola" from just blogging. Yeah I know, right? What will the internet concoct next?

Anyway...to stop me from actually rambling on about the benefits of the Internet and how we males primarily use it just to search for free porn, let me tell you guys a little something about myself.

My name is davey and I live in a country where we have had two woman presidents and people love korean soap operas to death. For about 30 years now, I lived in the city, where almost every luxury in life can be found. Life was great. If I wanted a Big Mac from Mickey D's at 2:00am... I could just get on the phone or order online and in about 30 minutes, the juicy, fat, and oily piece of unadulterated beef would be wandering cluelessly into the great void, my stomach. Again, life was great. Everything was in reach.

Recently, I packed and moved to one of the poorest regions in the country. I moved here just last May. Why? You ask. Well simply put, I decided to make my life simpler on a whim and an impulse. I decided to stay where I could keep an eye on my mother and at the same time take care of the family businesses. My mom is kinda old already with a number of ailments. Since my siblings have their own careers and families in the city, I moved to stay with my mom and help out the family. I am still single anyway so nothing to lose.

Before all this, I worked my ass off in the Telecoms industry as well as the Customer service industry. I had a decent career in these industries. I used to love to play videogames and hanging out with my friends at bars drinking the night away. Guess what I'm into now. Farming, Microfinancing, and all the simpler things in life. I eat more fish and vegetables now. I rarely drink anymore. Hell, what can I do...there are no fastfood joints here! There are no decent bars here. Oh yeah, and everyone here is in bed by 9 at night. Dudes, I used to stay up until the wee hours of the morning back in the city. Worst of all... there are no chicks and no nightlife here whatsoever.

Amidst all these complaints, this is probably one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I never thought I would last a month in this place but it has been 7 months and to tell you frankly its been a breeze. I do miss my lifestyle back in the city. I miss all my friends. I miss the food the most. But hey, you know what... I will be back to visit soon anyway. So Mcdonalds....wait for me because we will make wonderful music together!!!

So back to this first blog of mine. I named this blogsite impulse-response simply because I usually live on impulses just like this. I urge all of you to live in the moment with spontaniety. Life is boring when you plan each and every moment of your life to the tee. Let go of yourself and do the first thing that comes to mind. If your a health buff...eat fatty foods for a day. If you don't drink alcohol... get buzzed. If your very hygienic... pee into the wind. After you do it.. I will guarantee that you will love it. Because that is what life is... taking risks, acting on impulses, and enjoying every facet of life.

Dudes, I don't know if this first blog makes any sense. Forgive me if it doesn't as I still am a blog virgin... and this first blog is cracking the hymen. Anyway... I hope it does make sense.
